Also found my wedding shoes today..........

I actually prefer my dress without shoes or at least flat shoes, as the bottom of the dress just sits nicely on the floor and moves beautifully. The added benefit to this is my H2B is the same height as me so I won't be towering over him as we say our vows, something I have been conscious of. Anyway I do feel I would be missing out....not to buy those 'bridal shoes' a somewhat important part of the outfit and the wedding photos it seems! But I cannot justify spending hundreds on a pair ( I love Christian Louboutin) so I have scoured the internet today and also read several topics on the You & Your Wedding website about shoes and I have ordered these:

very....well sort of, productive day!

I have found a clothes designer on Etsy who produces some gorgeous pieces. Her name is Holly Stalder, I sent her some photos of my wedding dress hoping she could suggest a shrug type thing that would go well with my dress. She came back to me with several of her designs:

and after paying $175.00 USD /approx. £108 I will in a few months have one of her beautiful designs made especially for me and my dress!

The hunt continues......

I absolutely must find these gorgeous drop pearl earrings! I found this image on a very interesting group on Facebook called Enchanted Garden Wedding World but no name or website is attached!! Dilema!! In my search to find these particular beauties I have found a lovely few websites (see links below) on my quest, that have alot of choice and the vintage feel I am looking for for my wedding day. But I will carry on my search for these for now as I haven't found anything similar....yet!

Love this style, colour, theme.......

I came across these images on http://www.weddingconcepts.co.za last night and got very excited. I had been missing a base colour for my theme......not that there is a rule to say you have to have one, or that I had decided I needed one. But I had been planning on just having the flowers in a mixture of pinks, bright greens and then some more toned down displays of ivory and green and these being our main focal point. After seeing these images I'm loving the pinks, greens and grey together......looks awesome finished off by tons of candlelight and crystals......perfect!

Candy Bar!
